Remodelling

Have you been passed down or gifted jewellery from a loved one? A piece that has been in the family for generations or perhaps something your grandmother wore, but isn't your style? Perhaps a loved one has passed and you want to use their jewellery as a way to carry a little bit of them around with you.

Did you know its possible to upcycle jewellery?

Also known in the trade as jewellery remodelling. This is where you can take the jewellery piece apart and rebuild it into something new, or even melt it down completely to make something entirely different.

I like to take deep consideration on the reasons why you are looking to remodel a piece and keep this in mind during both the designing and making process. So that a reminiscence of what the piece was can remain, if that's what you want or it can be something entirely new too.

The process goes like this:

After you get in contact with me we can arrange meeting in person to discuss what you have and what your thinking of having done.

After this discussion I will go off and get designs drawn up for you (I dont charge for designs unless you decide to go ahead with one). Once you receive the designs you can edit them to your liking.

Once a design is finalised I will then work out a quote.

If you are happy with this, a deposit is paid and |I will begin work on your piece.

The remainder of the payment can be made once you receive the piece.

I set out to incorporate Tommy's (my late husband) wedding into my engagement, wedding and eternity rings to make a new ring set but never could I have envisaged the outcome!

Tara is an exceptional young lady, I struggle to find adequate words to describe her, her sensitive and thoughtful design ability and her incredible goldsmith skill.

Huge thanks to Tara. She remodelled my late mum in laws diamond and Ruby ring for my daughters 21st birthday. It is simply stunning! We are so delighted with the end product! The workmanship is perfect. Thanks Tara

My Grandmother gifted me her Jewellry and one of the pieces was a white gold brooch with 3 stones. Tara did an amazing job of turning this brooch into a beautiful ring which I now can wear and enjoy. It was a pleasure and delight to work with Tara and I cannot speak highly enough about her. She deserves to excel, every blessing Tara
